Yesterday, I had the pleasure of running the sound for the Jonestown Pool VS Bermuda Run swim meet. I just used my small “suitcase style” Fender Passport and a Sennheiser Lavalier Microphone. This setup is great for wedding ceremonies because its portable, offers stereo sound and all the controls are built in.
Another aspect that makes it easy is, the Fender has a built in VIP switch that automatically cuts the music down when the starter speaks. I played tons of dance music and everyone had a blast. Including one young swimmer dancing to her favorite jam. “Play that funky music (white boy) by Wild Cherry.” This DJ did, and always will. Keep dancing in the Triad.
